What are the effects of scalp scrub treatment and how to create the cosmetic? Here are recipes for moisturising, exfoliating and cleansing scalp scrubs.

Scalp scrub should be carried out no often than twice a week. In the case of itchy scalp and lifeless, flat hair, it’s better to give a go to a gentle scalp scrubs. It’s worth realizing that scalp massage performed on a regular basis stimulates blood flow and removal of dead epidermal cells makes it easier for hair to grow faster and leaves skin clean and moisturized.   • 1/4 glass olive oil

Combine the ingredients in a bowl and apply to damp scalp. Keep massaging with circular motions for a several minutes and rinse using lukewarm water. At the end, wash the hair with a shampoo and apply a conditioner.

Recipe for exfoliating scalp scrub

Ingredients:

  • 6-8 aspirin pills
  • 4 tbsp. warm water

Dissolve aspirin in water and apply to scalp using a toothbrush. Separate damp hair with a comb and massage the scalp with the toothbrush. Aspirin contains salicylic acid which cleanses deeply and exfoliates skin. It also positively influences acne skin type. Rinse the exfoliating scalp scrub after a few minutes and wash your hair as regular.

Recipe for cleansing scalp scrub

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp. baking soda
  • 1 tbsp. shampoo
  • a few drops of tea tree oil

Combine all ingredients and apply to scalp. Keep massaging for a few minutes to remove impurities and dead skin cells. At the end, wash scalp and hair using a shampoo and lukewarm water. Optionally, you can follow with a light conditioner. This type of scalp scrub isn’t recommended to dyed hair, yet is serves well greasy scalp because tea tree oil displays antiseptic properties and baking soda absorbs the excess of sebum.
