When we ask others what they pay attention to when they meet someone, rather no one answers that to the eyebrows. Does this mean, then, that eyebrows don’t matter or is it just an impression? Possibly the eyebrows themselves don’t attract much attention, but they emphasize the eyes, sharpen the look and give expression to the face. Unfortunately, not every woman is lucky enough to own beautiful, thick eyebrows, but the good news is that there are some ways to help it, such as cosmetics and treatments. It’s better to start with the least invasive methods, that is cosmetics. Which eyebrow products to choose: gels, shadows, pencils, powders or waxes?
Eyebrow make-up
Nowadays the choice is very wide. You can choose between gels, shadows, pencils, powders and eyebrow waxes. Most brands produce cosmetics with a rich range of colours. Both the type of a cosmetic and its shade must be selected individually. While some women only need gentle taming of their eyebrows, others need to put more effort into eye make-up. The first group of ladies should be satisfied with eyebrow gels, the second must reach for eyebrow shadows and pencils, which precisely fill in the gaps in the arches and draw the right shape of the eyebrows.
Eyebrow gels
They are very famous among women. Thanks to their consistency, they do not smudge and can be applied easily and effortlessly. Some eyebrow gels contain small fibres that fill in the holes in the eyebrows and make the eyebrows visually denser.
Eyebrow shadows
They are sold individually or in sets of, for example, two shades. Eyebrow shadows make it possible to shape and fill in your eyebrows. They can be used wet and dry, and the effect lasts for many hours. Usually, small tweezers and a brush are attached to sets of several shades.
Eyebrow pencils
They enable natural effect. Thanks to their relatively soft consistency, they are very easy to apply. Another advantage of this cosmetic is a brush that allows you to remove excess product. Women with both light and dark eyebrows should be able to find a shade ideal for them.
Eyebrow powders
They contain a pigment that prevents from obtaining an exaggerated effect, but the effect is still visible. In addition, eyebrow powders give long-lasting results, especially when used together with the eyebrow gel. It should be applied with the use of an angle brow brush.
Eyebrow waxes
They are available individually or in a set with eyebrow shadows. The waxes are aimed at consolidating the effect after the application of the shadows. They are easy to use even for those lacking practice in eye make-up. Often eyebrow waxes are equipped with a double-sided applicator with a brush that allows to make some corrections.
