Discover ways to remedy damaged and split ends of hair.

How to regenerate your hair?

To regenerate your hair, you will have to moisturize it with masks and oils regularly and reduce the use of a blow-dryer, hair straightener, curler, etc. In addition, do not pull the hair while brushing and do not rub it vigorously with a towel when drying. Do not forget to trim the tips regularly regardless whether you are trying to grow out your hair or not. A healthy diet rich in products containing vitamin A and E and vitamins from group B, as well as zinc, iron and copper is equally important. Additionally, the ready-made horsetail-based dietary supplements will be helpful.

Hair moisturizing with oils and masks

Olive oil has moisturizing and regenerating properties. IT can be replaced with castor oil, argan oil and coconut oil. The last two will additionally smooth out the frizz and split ends of the hair.

The masks that you can do yourself are equally important. A homemade egg mask is especially recommended. Eggs are a rich source of protein and essential fatty acids that will work in the care of split ends. To prepare an egg mask, mix the yolk with 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of honey. The finished mask is to be applied to moist hair for about half an hour, after which it is to be rinsed and washed out with a mild shampoo. Egg mask used regularly, for example, once a week, will make the hair smoother and less brittle.

Appropriate washing and drying of hair

The main principle is that you cannot use hot water to wash your hair. The best will be lukewarm water, which will close the hair scales and protect the tips from damage.

In turn, the hair should be dried in the direction of its growth, at a distance of at least 15 cm. The blow-dryer is best set at the lowest temperature, which prevents the cuticle from opening. Do not dry your hair immediately after washing, because this treatment exposes it to damage.
